About

The Buffalo Blitz is the University at Buffalo’s inaugural gaming festival. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, we seek to bring together the collegiate community in the United States Northeast in celebrate all the great things gaming has done for our communities, and to discuss how to move ourselves forward in the collegiate space.

To that end, the Buffalo Blitz will feature 10 separate gaming tournaments, and 3 panels. The event will be held virtually on March 5th – 7th and most information can be found on our Discord channel. Everyone is invited to come participate, whether it be as a competitor, a speaker, or spectator!

Who can attend?

Tournaments are open to anyone, but we are preferring collegiate level teams! All events are accessible through our public Discord server!

Who should register for events?

Anyone seeking to compete in tournaments should have their leading representative register for the tournament. Some community events may require registration please check out the registration section!

How can I organize a panel or event?

If you are interested in organizing a panel or event, please either send us an email at our address, ubuffalo.esports@gmail.com, or contact our executive director through Discord, who can be found through the University at Buffalo Esports public Discord.
